I have recently started to wonder - who was the toughest man in Tolkien works.

Is this 'who is the toughest/greatest/wisest' stuff inspired by WWF or something. Its unsolvable.. Would you apply it in the real world?

Hmm... in case you didn't notice... newsgroups (discussion groups) are normally used for:

1) getting an answer/suggestion to something you dont know but others do (this is common for technically oriented groups like comp*, but agreably happens here too)

2) discussing things with other people to see what they think

The second certainly applies to "unsolvable" issues, specifically if those are unsolvable in the view of some people yet perhaps not other people's views.

Ah well... how about "Balrog had wings"... solvable/not solvable? hmm... yet it's interesting how people perceive this story (providing they don't repeat the basic argument over and over again).
