Repairs or maintainence? For routine maintainence, you're looking at $80 oil changes and $400+ 40k service due to the dsg. It also has a timing belt rather than chain so that needs replacing (probably not an issue for Lloyd with the low miles he drives). For repairs, we've between bitten by a high pressure fuel pump failure and clogged dpf / egr filter.
You're full of crap ed.
nope. i have every receipt for the car- which would you like to see?Nashtoned
Oil changes on Audis are as cheap or as expensive as any other car.
if you can find 507.00 oil for the same price as other synthetics (it happens occasionally), yeah, but that's not generally the case. in the u.s. you're generally looking at $9-$11/qt.Nashtoned
Audi offers an upfront $750 charge for *all* the regular services.\
$400 is not an unheard of amount for a 40K service on any car, just in> case you had no clue, which obviously you don't.
what service do you have on most cars at $40k that costs that much?Nashtoned
If something breaks on any make after the warranty period, you're looking at expensive repairs.
thing is, the high pressure fuel pump is REALLY expensive. and notorious.
as for the dpf... that's really maintenance, and not a repair. a diesel is going to produce soot, and the car is going to burn it off, producing ash. the rub is, vag designed the dpf such that it isn't serviceable! something that's a $150 service on a diesel truck is a $2k replacement on vag vehicles.Nashtoned
Stop advertising ignorance.
you need to learn something about your car.
