pretty much, other than conversions are easier, but only for people who don't use it much.

It's also easirt for people that use the metric system well mostly anyway.

but only with their pratical unit they use, NOT with others.

Few people will know how many Hectares are in an Acre, or quarts in a gallon. The trouble with imperial was that ther were many units. For distance we prety much have the metre, mm km... With imperial it depended on what yuo were talking about furlongs for horse racing fathams for depths, feet, inches, miles, yards.

I'd have to work out how many inches in a mile but how many mm in a km is much easier to work out.

because they're familiar with it. it's not that difficult.

So how mnay rods in a mile ?
