Many years ago, I read that a conference of psychiatrists somewhere or other had concluded that Donald Duck was an angst symbol. They also thought Flash Gordon was a crypto-Nazi, by the way.
Were they Red Dwarf fans? What does the prefix crypto- mean, anyway?
Ah, "Red Dwarf"! How I miss that series. As for "crypto", it means someone who is secretly a member of a movement or sympathizes with its ideas.
