TT ArvindIn Sweden, they used Ohlmarks' names throughout. Of course, where something was made up by Jackson and not by Tolkien, they had to use other solutions. And there they didn't always shone. For example, "Lord Aragorn" was also known as "lord Aragorn" in Swedish. I would have preferred "furst Aragorn" myself; in Swedish, the word "lord" means a member of the British aristoracy.

I don't think one should change major names which have become established in Swedish usage.
I'd be curious to hear how they handled the names in the subtitles for the movies. Did they use Ohlmarks' names throughout? And what was done in other languages, particularly where they have more than one translation (as in German)?
