The thing about mobile is a little scary. People carry it everywhere.

Not me. I have a totally dumb flip phone that cost $20.00 and I pay $6.66 per month for my service.

but why is my phone reading my email?? Why is my phone monitoring my movements?

You should have heeded the warnings of Richard M. Stallman whose has been right on the money with his predictions.

We're paying to be tagged and cataloged.

People should start demanding royalty payments for all the data that is being used by other parties.

The US Congress should pass a law making royalty payments mandatory, but one cannot expect such progressive legislation from that group. Most of them are helplessly addicted to their phones. How shameful.

Privacy can easily exist. The problem is that there are no strong willed people to assert their basic human rights.

All we see are passive sheep entranced by a cheap and useless gadget.
