?jevind L?ngI don't know what give its "nationality" to a comic, but both Goscinny and Uderzo are French. I was first published in a weekly magazine named "Pilote", who was french, in 1959. In 1960, "Pilote" is bought by Dargaud, a french editor. Though you can trace some of its roots to the famous belgian school of comics ("la ligne claire"), Ast?rix et Ob?lix is definetly a french comic.
It's a Belgian comic about two fearless Gaulish warriors who love fighting the Roman occupants and feasting on roasted wild boar.
