SnitHonestly, Michael Glasser, I think you're an idiot... A circus clown. Think what you want.

OK, created / ran some scripts to show you the concept of window 1.
<https://youtu.be/PyKpARhOz4Y>
LOL!
I thought we covered the concept of Windows 1 a million times already.
We had... but Owl was STILL confused.Marek NovotnySnit
The whole point was NOT to do it that way...
Owl added that LONG after the first challenge. But if you do not want to reference them that way then don't:
<https://youtu.be/jcPUmwritV8>
Finally.
This is what Owl showed the very first time.
No it is not. Not even close. Not the same program, same OS, same scripting language, scripting model, commands, or results!
But, hey, feel free to make up things as you wish!SnitI am sure there are better ways. Only way I could find with the few minutes of trying right now was to create the window and then immediately get the ID. It is theoretically possible for another process to "slip in" during that fraction of a second.Marek Novotny
But the original task was just to set up windows... which I did. No mention of anyone trying to stop you!
Nope, we all pretty much knew you'd turn this into a circus.
LOL! I went FAR out of my way to help Owl understand a concept he was struggling with -- what was meant by "window 1." As predicted you are trolling me over it.
You cannot help yourself.

I think you made this clear as a bell a hundred times. And he's still focusing on this same stupid thing over and over again.
Owl repeatedly got confused by what was meant by "window 1" -- so I made this thread to help him.
And, of course, you and he troll me over it. It is what you do.
I don't think he was confused at all.
He repeatedly asked about what "window 1" meant, why more than one instance was not opened, etc. He was clueless about what was happening. Which is fine... but why do you and he have to troll over it?
He was ignorant of something and sought to learn. That should be commended. His trolling should not be.Marek NovotnySnit
In fact I'd say quite the opposite.
Right: you would say things that are not true. You would troll. You ARE doing those things. You seem unable to help yourself.Marek NovotnySnit
Without having any AppleScript experience at all he rightly predicted the problem you'd have.
The problem he created with his moving of goal posts once it was explained to him. Sure.Marek NovotnySnit
It took Sandman to come in and provide you with enough hints to correct the issue Owl rightly predicted you'd have with your approach.
A direct lie on your part.Marek NovotnySnit
But as usual, we can tally this as yet another lie on your part to turn a simple task into a circus.
A direct lie on your part.
