That is the part which applies to Agent.Incorrect. Agent, when you change the subject, does NOT take References, Subject and Date into account. It takes only Subject into account.
here, let me beat you over the head with an RFC yet again. You know, the ones you kept asking for before?
RFC 5322, section 3.6.4 Identification fields: "The "In-Reply-To:" field may be used to identify the message (or messages) to which the new message is a reply, while the "References:" field may be used to identify a "thread" of conversation."
