i'm telling you, as someone who has written photoshop plug-ins, making a distinction between 'photoshop plug-in' and 'plug-in for photoshop' is utterly ridiculous and shows just how much of an idiot you really are.

While it might not get your pocket protector in a twist, the use of Photoshop in a non-authorized way might get Adobe's legal department's bowels in an uproar. That's the way Photoshop can to be a generic term and why Adobe doesn't want you to use "photoshopped" as a verb.
