NashtonStill, same platform and same engine, which shows that your previous claim is *WRONG*. Are you running away from that claim now?

That also isn't the only example of platform sharing. For example, all of these were built on the same platform (and with variations, the same manufacturing line):
Audi A3 Mk2 (8P) Audi TT Mk2 (8J)[1] Volkswagen Touran (1T) Volkswagen Caddy (2K) SEAT Altea (5P) Volkswagen Golf Mk5 / GTI / R32 / Rabbit Mk5 (1K) Škoda Octavia Mk2 (1Z) Volkswagen Golf Plus (5M) SEAT Toledo Mk3 (5P) Volkswagen Jetta Mk5 (1K) SEAT León Mk2 (1P) Volkswagen Tiguan (5N) Volkswagen Scirocco (13) Volkswagen Golf Mk6 (5K) Škoda Yeti (5L) Volkswagen Jetta Mk6 (1K), (16) Audi Q3 (8U) Volkswagen Beetle (16)
Who really gives a fuck when the end products sharing the same platform could be drastically different. C&D I think had an article not so long ago asserting that platform sharing frequently is irrelevant for the consumer. Mazda 3 and ford focus are tuned in such a way that their consumer base hardly overlap. I doubt there is even as much cross shopping between the two as between apple and samsung clienteles.
it is significant to the degree, that some jealous sod, will bring up anything he can to prove some point.
As far as Audi goes, most of the component sharing ends with the A3 and I'll give you the A4.
Beyond that, they don't share more than 10%, at *most* with anything VW or Skoda, which according to more reliable surveys, is one of the best European brands as far as reliability goes.
Except for engines, as I have shown. And, except for many platforms, as I have shown. Face it, Nashton, your Q7 isn't that much different from a Toureg. Same platform, same engine.
Hmmm, a Tuareg? Sure, I'll take that. A pimped out Touareg, is about as expensive as a base Audi Q7, still has tons of torque but drives like an appliance. No 3rd row seat, no air suspension, interior appointments are far more luxurious than the Touareg and it has that wonderful badge that exudes success, which the Touareg, unfortunately lacks. To boot, the dimensions are completely different. The Q7 is wider, longer and has that lovely air suspension that drops it down to a few inches.
face it Fritzy, you'll never be able to afford one, either a Touareg or a Q7 so occupy yourself with something more meaningful than trying to convince yourself that a Q7 drives, handles and looks anything like a Tuareg. One, I would never buy an SUV. I quite prefer cars. Two, all you've done here is show how shallow and materialistic you are, Nashton. As I said in another post, you measure yourself by what you own, and try to tell everyone what you own is superior to what they own. And, of course, you are ever so proud of how much you paid for it. Yet, you try to mock people who purchase Apple products. You are nothing but a hypocrite, Nashton. And, I must add, a very sorry one.

... but lots of bugs fixed, hopefully.
Look up various Power Driver surveys and you'll get your answer.
