My word, but your are self-centered, Nashton. Your>argument works just as well when people say they>don't mind if you spend way more than you need on a car, but they are buying the computer they want.

Yup, Nicolas is quite blind to his own hypocrisy.

Nashton
Yes, I am self centered, I know that for a fact.

Lack of acknowledgement of his hypocrisy ... noted.

But I'm also empathic enough that the people around me, ...

Unsubstantiated claim.

for the exception of the Gurls, don't notice it.

Namecalling; divisiveness, & unsubstantiated claim.

You're not stating your case rigorously enough. Flawed analogy, at best, idiotic comment at worst.

Namecalling; divisiveness...oh, and yet another unsubstantiated claim.

Alan Baker
Uh, huh. His point of view seems to be the only one that is valid according to him. Couple that with his pleasing personality and he comes off as just obnoxious.

Nashton
That's because I've handed you your ass countless times, on a platter and you keep on coming back for more.

Lloyd E Parsons
You've not hand anyone their ass in a very long time, possibly never.

You've tried, even with bogus 'facts' that turn out to be at best, your opinon. But every time you fall flat in the attempt. It really is pathetic.

Yup. About the only plausible reason why he keeps it up would be in the "Begging for Attention" realm.

You bought an anemic, run off the mill, North American rust bucket, rental car fleet car...

Alan Baker
I got to thinking about this particular comment of Nasty's. If his new leased car is none of these things, why lease it instead of buy it? He won't have his leased car long enough for any of that to matter. Hell, he probably won't put enough miles on it to hit the expensive scheduled maintenance stuff.

Nashton
I don't know how many times I'll have to repeat it. Which renders my repeating it again, utterly useless. You still won't get it.

Avoidance; the 'repeat' bit is YA unsubstantiated claim.

Alan Baker
Or did he get a high mileage lease? I've never seen those at decent enough pricing to even consider, generally cost more than just buying the damned thing.

And when was the last time you read a story about a car rusting out in the last 10 years?

Nashton
Yes, high mileage.

24,000 km/yr = 15K mikes/year = *average* mileage, not high.

You're such a colossal dork, it's simply unbelievable. They are 8everywhere* to be found, especially on late model cars.

Golly, someone needs to read his rust warranty better: it is for rust THROUGH, not merely rust. Until there's literally a hole through the fender, the warranty isn't invoked.

Lloyd E Parsons
Feel free to provide proof of your rust out with current autos. I noticed you offered yet again, another 'opinion' of yours and try to pass it off as 'fact' with nothing to back it up.

Yes, it is yet another unsubstantiated claim from Nicolas.

Corrosion protection became much better starting ~4 decades ago when full dip galvanizing was added to manufacturers' processes. So while there certainly can be seen some examples here and there, they simply aren't anything like what the problems were like back in the 60s and early 70s.

God, you really can't stand the fact that reasonable people don't all agree with you. Perhaps you should consider the possibility that they could be right,>and you wrong.

Nicolas's fragile ego can't even contemplate such a thought; that's why he lashes out so readily. Unfortunately, he's forgotten the old saying:

"If everyone around you is an asshole, it's probably not them."

<http://mommasunshine.wordpress.com/2012/11/20/when-everyones-an-asshole-maybe-its-not-them/>

Alan Baker
LOL! I love that!! :)

Nashton
Not everyone is an asshole around me, just you.

Just Lloyd? Or just Lloyd, Dave, me, Alan, Mr. "Brake/Dive/Accel..." ... just so far obvious in just this one thread?

Perhaps you could point to just as many individuals in this thread who has agreed with everything you've claimed? Should be easy enough to do, if your claim was truthful.

You spend *way* too much time on me. Are you obsessed with me?

It would behoove Nicolas to go check the post count in this thread to ascertain just who is spending how much time ;-)
