"Whoosh!"? I thought you and nospam were more or less on the same side of this argument.

PeterN
When in response to my statement that many artists do not even want to know how to create as script, his response, in effect that it is easy, shows a lack of understanding of hwat I said.

nospam
i didn't say writing scripts was easy.

what i said was if they want to automate a particular task, they don't have to write a script at all.

they can record an action, doing what they normally would do to the image and let the computer take care of the details. or they can use actions already created by others. no script writing necessary.

as usual, whoosh applies to you.

PeterN
would it shock you to know that most photographers do not record actions. the artist modifies each image, individually.

Savageduck
Not all photographers are "artists".

Depends on whether you classify a casual snapshooter as a photographer.
