Hahahaha!!! What - didn't you use that "broken email address" to see my substantiation - I mean, you were just "playing" with me when you said - no INSISTED, that it was a broken email address!?

Flint
Exactly, it's silly to post message-IDs when many newsreaders don't newsreaders don't handle them from the message window. Not that they don't handle them at all, mind you

Haha, Flint is now trying to retcon this into him not at all thinking that was an "email address link" which he responded to with - and I quote: "Teeheeheheee"

Teeheeheheee, indeed, Flint.

He subsequently said some really stupid things like:

<kho9fj$31k$1@dont-email.me> "Wrong, Ailin Bellyacher .  An embedded "@" makes it a broken email link, moron."

He sure knew it was a Message-ID - he was just "playing" me in his response to... Alan. :-D

He then said this:

"Just because you fangurlz expect the rest of the world's usenet newsreader software to follow some non-standard MT-Newswatcher convention for creating broken links, don't assume such links are proper."

Yes, he actually thought a Message-ID was a MTNW "non-standard" link

-D

(as I indicated). But then I suspect you're too stupid to provide a TinyURL link instead, huh?

TinyURL can't link to NNTP posts, Einstein. They can only link to HTTP pages. A Message-ID is a link to a specific Message on your NNTP server. This is a standard from 1983!!

Just like MT-Newswatcher posts broken truncated garbage for links, inserting message-IDs in the body of text is just flat out stupid.

Hahahaqhahhahahahahhahahahahha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But then the developers of Mozilla, SeaMonkey, (or even Outlook Express, FTM) aren't as smart as you, huh?

Hahahahahahahhahhahahhahaha!!!!!!!!!!

Sandman
I mean - you were "playing" *me* when you insisted *to Alan* that it was not a Message-ID, right? I mean, damn, that was such good fun play! Hahahah!!!

Flint
Yes it was, pointing out the silliness of your message ID.

Yes, you sure "Pointed it out" when you said this:

<khodap$n9r$1@dont-email.me> "The smart thing for you to do is explain just on what basis you claim the software I use is broken because it doesn't handle his/your bogus formed message-ID links."

Yes, still thinking this is a "bogus formed" Message-ID (although, no longer a broken email link, so he must have googled some in between

-D)

Posting it in a body of text assuming it is a clickable link that works is indeed stupid. And yes, that is exactly what it works as - a BROKEN email link, idiot. Try it yourself with Thunderbird if you doubt it.

"An embedded "@" makes it a broken email link, moron."

Hahahaha!!!!!

Well, at least Flint has learned what a Message-ID looks like! My god what a troll wannabe newbie.

Sandman
Surely now you are going to shove that back into my face here and now and follow/use/whatever that "broken email address" and disprove my substantiation? Surely?? Haha!!!

Flint
Hmmm... that's a good idea. I think I might just borrow it.

Come on, did you manage to figure out how to use that broken email address yet, Flint? Did you see Merriam Webster slap you so hard in your face that you may forget what a HTTP URI looks like?

I'm going to have to digestify this!
