That depends entirely upon how much this Edwin of which you speak values the things the Mini does offer. If he puts a premium on the form factor then he might have found it a great bargain. However if he were basing his judgement on the machine's specs then he would have been greatly disappointed.
Who is the form factor important to, and why?
Many people and not just for rational reasons. People like the cool factor of having a tiny computer much as they like the cool factor of certain cars.
IOW, you're saying it's for irrational, egotistical people who don't really do much with a computer?
What a lovely straw man.
Where?
Yours.
IOW, there is none.GlorbSnitSnitGlorb
People buy things for irrational purposes all the time - look at choices of houses and cars and clothes.
So your answer to my question is yes.
I noted your straw man.
I have no straw man.SnitGlorb
What else do you want?
Honest answers from you.
You spewed the straw man
I did no spewing, of straw men, or any other kind of spewing.SnitGlorb
about the Mac mini being for "irrational, egotistical people who don't really do much with a computer?"
That's the conclusion that fits what I was told.SnitGlorb
We can debate endlessly about this, but in the end the facts will not change: that was your dishonest take on someone's comment.
You're confusing your lies with facts.
What Keith Ream stated:
Many people and not just for rational reasons. People like the cool factor of having a tiny computer much as they like the cool factor of certain cars.
Your reply:
IOW, you're saying it's for irrational, egotistical people who don't really do much with a computer?
Being that Keith Ream did *not* say it was for people who were "egotistical" nor for people who "don't really do much with a computer"Sure he did. He said they buy an inadequate computer just because it looks cool.
your interpretation of his comments is clearly faulty.Your disagreement does not render my interpretation faulty.
We can go round and round on this for the next 6 months, if you like, but it will not change the fact your comments were absurd. You're confusing your lies with facts again.
